Synthetic Thymosin Beta-4 analog — preclinical data, very limited human data.

Overview

TB-500 is a synthetic analog of Thymosin Beta-4, an endogenous peptide involved in actin regulation and cellular migration. Preclinical research suggests involvement in tissue repair, particularly in areas with limited vascularity. Human clinical data is very limited. This is a compounded investigational peptide, not an FDA-approved medication.

Mechanism

Thymosin Beta-4 is involved in actin sequestration and cell migration. TB-500 is proposed to support tissue repair by promoting cell migration to injury sites. These effects have been studied primarily in animal models.

Clinical Considerations

  • Very limited human clinical data.
  • Not a treatment for diagnosed injuries or conditions.
  • Requires provider evaluation. Results are not guaranteed.

Potential Side Effects

  • Injection site reactions (mild redness, swelling).
  • Mild fatigue or flu-like feeling reported by some users in early use.
  • Long-term effects in humans are not well characterized — very limited human safety data exists.

All prescriptions require a telehealth consultation with a licensed provider. A prescription is not guaranteed. Individual results vary. Not FDA-approved unless noted otherwise.
