Sleep support

Sleep-focused protocols and testing pathways, because most recovery problems start there.

What it is

A structured approach to sleep quality, covering behavior, testing, and where appropriate a prescription pathway.

What it is used for

Poor recovery, daytime energy, cognitive fog, and the hormonal effects of chronically short or fragmented sleep.

How a protocol is structured

Assessment first, then the smallest effective intervention, with testing where the picture suggests an underlying disorder.

What to expect

Sleep is the highest-leverage variable in most programs. Improvements here usually show up across every other marker.

Reviewed case by case. Testing may be recommended before any prescription pathway.

Common questions

Where does sleep work start?

With what is actually happening: timing, duration, awakenings, snoring, and daytime function. A sleep disorder that goes unnamed does not respond to a supplement, and screening for one comes before any prescription pathway.

When is a sleep study warranted?

When there is loud snoring, witnessed pauses in breathing, unrefreshing sleep despite adequate hours, or resistant high blood pressure. Obstructive sleep apnea is common, frequently undiagnosed, and treating it changes more downstream markers than anything else in this category.

Do peptides help with sleep?

Growth hormone releasing peptides are often discussed for sleep quality, because growth hormone release is largest in the first hours of deep sleep. The evidence for improving sleep architecture is limited, and they are not a substitute for treating an underlying disorder.

Is this a prescription therapy?

It is an assessment pathway first. Where a prescription is appropriate, it is written by an independent licensed provider after review. Availability is confirmed at consult.
